Deputy Chief of Training – Regional Fire Services

The County of Grande Prairie No. 1, part of the Community Services Service Area, is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to join our team as the Deputy Chief of Training for our Fire Services program. This is a critical leadership role within our Regional Fire Service, responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing comprehensive training programs to enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities of our firefighting personnel.

As the Deputy Chief of Training, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the readiness and competence of our firefighting personnel. You will work collaboratively with the team to develop and execute training programs that align with our strategic objectives and maintain our operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include organizing training sessions, creating training materials, mentoring new recruits, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
