The City of Camrose is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated individual to fill the full-time permanent position of Deputy Fire Chief. Under the direction of the Fire Chief, the Deputy Fire Chief is responsible for coordinating all functions related to firefighting operations and training, along with associated reporting and compliance requirements. This key leadership role ensures that all fire service personnel are trained to the highest standards, and that operational readiness is maintained across the department.

Our fire services team is committed to firefighter training, emergency response, and public safety. We lead fire training programs, mentor new officers, and ensure readiness for emergency incidents in Camrose and beyond. Supporting fire prevention and public education, we develop safety plans, oversee equipment maintenance, and conduct fire inspections in compliance with provincial codes. Additionally, we contribute to municipal emergency planning, manage department budgets, and uphold operational policies. Dedicated to protecting the community, we provide strong leadership and assume command when required to ensure effective fire service delivery.
