The Alberta Fire Chiefs Association (AFCA) is excited to announce the launch of its Five Stripe Vendor Program. This innovative initiative is designed to recognize and foster strong professional relationships with vendors who have consistently demonstrated exceptional service and alignment with AFCA’s values. Vendors with a history of positive engagement with AFCA and who meet specific criteria, such as a minimum of five years of AFCA membership and good credit standing, are eligible to apply. The program offers numerous benefits to selected vendors, including priority booking for trade shows, advance sponsorship opportunities, flexible payment options, and a merit-based system for allocating opportunities. The AFCA Executive Director, along with governance direction from AFCA Executive Committee, and AFCA Conference Committee, will oversee the program’s management, ensuring a fair and transparent selection process, and continuous monitoring and evaluation of participating vendors. This initiative reflects AFCA’s commitment to maintaining high standards of service and integrity in its partnerships, and aims to enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of products and services available to the fire service community in Alberta.
