Rolling Barrage PTSD Foundation Cross-Country Motorcycle Ride

by | May 10, 2024 | Announcements

This year is the 8th annual coast-to-coast ride. The goal of the ride is to raise awareness, generate support, and to combat the stigma associated with PTSD and other mental-health-related issues within the military and first responder community. The ride begins July 28th in St. John’s NL and ends August 17th in Aldergrove BC. The route is scheduled to be in Alberta beginning Aug. 11th through the 15th.

I would like to ask each fire department for their support in two ways:

1. Accompany the ride: Members can register to join the ride for any portion of the ride or the entire cross-country trip. The experiences of the ride generates a powerful sense of connection and understanding within the military and first responder community.

2. Public Outreach: Along the route, the fire service’s involvement in this event generates significant attention and provides an opportunity to engage with the public. It greatly enhances the visibility of the event and emphasizes the importance of the cause. Many Services provide apparatus and uniformed members to form a salute as the ride enters town or have a presence at designated stops.

Thank you again for your assistance.  Feel free to contact me any time if I can provide more information.
