This course is available to members of recognized emergency services organizations. This course is being delivered over 6 months online, with one (1) practical day on June 2 and the exam and practical evaluations on June 5th at the Kananaskis Emergency Services Centre.
Students will be required to purchase their own textbook: IFSTA Fire and Emergency Services Instructor 9th Edition. The textbook is
available from the Alberta Fire Chief’s Association bookstore.
Prerequisites: Nil
A 50% deposit is required to reserve a seat in the course. Deposits are non-refundable if cancelled within two weeks of the start date.
A schedule will be provided ahead of the January 17th start date; each chapter will commence approximately a month apart. This
will require logging in, watching the lecture, and completing assignments each month.
